I am very excited to undertake this next project. Last year was the year of Revelation – this year is the season of Romans. Why not the YEAR of Romans? Simple – I will be presenting podcasts of my studies in this epic letter from Paul until late 2027 (maybe even into 2028)! This will not be a single-year project… oh, no.
I need to remind the listeners, viewers, and readers that what you will find is a personal study of Paul’s letter to the church in Rome. It is not intended to be an exhaustive scholarly work, though it will be as exhaustive as I can make it – meaning as complete as I can make it.
Prior to any Bible study I do, I start by asking God to show ME what He wants me to see. Romans is no different. You are going to read and/or listen to what God speaks into MY heart. I cannot write a Bible study for anyone else but myself. I want MY life to be changed. I want MY life to be different when I am done than it was when I started. What this means is that I may very well skip over something you deem important. Does this lessen my efforts here? No. It merely means God wasn’t talking to me about that thing that you deem important. It also means you’re paying attention – which is kind of cool. Well done!
Your experience in this study will be that of someone looking through a window as I putter about, watching me clean and declutter.
It is my hope that you will be inspired to join me in this “cleaning and decluttering” process in your own life. I welcome your opinions and thoughts on what I present here.
May your life be as blessed as mine as I study this Magnum Opus of the Rabbi/Pharisee/Apostle Paul.
Peeringly and Ponderingly Yours,
Paige
